I booked Kathy for hair and makeup for my best friend's bridal shower and wedding. It was my first time ever getting my makeup done and as a brown South Asian girl, I was nervous about how it would come out. Turns out I didn't have to worry at all because Kathy is a queen at her job.
From the beginning, she was so responsive and warm. Booking with her was straightforward and I liked that she makes moodboards based on your inspo pics. She's also so chill and chats with you like you've been friends forever.
I've always struggled with finding the perfect foundation match but Kathy matched me so perfectly and naturally I was stunned. The base she did on me was flawless and weightless; it looked like my own skin. She knew just how to make my eyes, cheeks, and features pop. She was so attentive, even when the sessions ran long.
Here's the kicker: I'd only booked her for makeup on the wedding day and had my hair done at a salon, only to wish that I had booked her for hair as well because my hairstyle went completely flat. I was freaking out but guess who saved the day? Kathy worked her magic (without any hairspray?!) and saved my head from looking flat as an egg. And it stayed put well past midnight. She was quick to help me with little things too, like clipping on earrings and adjusting my jewelry. This kindness and patience and professionalism from her during such a hectic time won me over. I wish I could have her for every event I attend!
Anyway, I’m obsessed with Kathy and can’t wait to book her again. If you’re thinking about it, just book her. She knows how to make you look and feel your best.
